Photography permeates our modern existence. It is a visual tapestry of our lives and with the advent of cameras in our mobile devices and the ease of editing, deleting, and shooting over, it has brought a new awareness of the power of our imagery. Occasionally, the metaphor displaces and over-writes the actual experiences of life. I prefer to think of it instead as a door into another realm of existence.
